Found one fairly close to me, not sure of the year model, but it's claimed to only have 15 hours. Does anyone run one of these on their 13'?

It's currently on a John boat and will most likely have to buy the whole setup and then sell off the John boat and trailer... He's asking 1800...

Pros and cons would be appreciated.

Mark

If 4 cycle Damn good so far. 2011 30 hp Tohatsu on 1992 13 GLS. Love it. At $1800 its a deal. Tiller? Elec. Trim/tilt? one with all controls and instal just under 5K. Make sure of the year. Dealer/friend say no problems with them. They make Nissan and Merc 30 hp and under. Just bring it to a dealer and have them check out the compression etc.

Good riding.

With a 30hp do you really need power tilt & trim?

It makes life easier with an electric trim/tilt. Wish I had one on my 40hp yamadog.

I bought a used 1985 Tohatsu ss 2-stroke for my '68 13 to replace a '71 40hp Evinrude. So far this has been a great motor. Light at 125 lbs(book says 46kg-104lbs) with electric start. Pull starts very easily. Does 37 with just me(200 lbs) and gear in it. With two people and gear it does 31. I bought it because of the weight on the short transom. The problem that I may run into is finding parts for it because most info on parts for this model start in 1993. Some parts are still interchangeable with mine and I hope that I don't run into a problem finding parts if anything should happen to it.
