I am looking at repowering and we have a lot of posts asking others opinions but no database where they could all be stored. Maybe even just a pro's vs. cons list next to each option. Let me know what people think.

Let me know what people think. I think most of it depends on what you want to do with it. Do you want to just cruise or do you want to pull up a skier? If you just want to cruise, get a 25 hp 4 stroke, if you want to ski, you might consider a 40 hp 2 stroke. Having said that, I think the new 4 strokes have a bit more bottom than the ones that first came out.

What was your top end speed?? To the OP, for a 13' foot whaler, I recommend the 40hp motor. Cliff 1966 13' Sport with a 1993 40hp Yamaha 2 Smoker
