The boat came with this outboard. it had some kind of electrical problem & we knew the CDI box was a used replacement of the original knowing the previous owner. We sent this core to mercury for accuracy in parts ordering. I guess the CDI box in the 1973 & 1975 is different. About 2 weeks later we received the new one & installed it. Sometime this winter it may get an extreme makeover, have to see how things go with new baby. But I plan on a new console, bow rail, & probably an RPS. Maybe a new paint job too. Will post new images as the time goes. I will have to start a project page.
