I am looking for a trailer for my 15' Whaler. The trailer that came with my boat is the original trailer, and it needs to be replaced. I took measurements and it is 18' long, and has a frame width of 60". What weight capacity should I be looking for? Is there better size I should be looking for my trailer? Would the one linked below suffice or is it too small? I planned on adding a foldable tongue which could get me the extra length I need.

In your neck of the woods, I'm sure there are literally hundreds of places where you can buy a trailer for your 15'. Be sure to get a galvanized one as the salt water will wreak havoc on anything else.

That trailer is only rated for 700 pounds. I don't remember the weight of a 15, but it's in a number of threads here that you can find with Search. Seems like 350 or so. Motor is a couple hundred more, Gas plus spare gas plus tools, cooler, anchor, skis, fishing gear, trolling motor, whatever all else, plus for me it's SCUBA gear, and pretty soon you're looking at 1500 lbs or more.
That's not "boating" weight, it's "transportation" weight.
And Cliff beat me to it - galvanized is the cat's meow. .02

Dad just bought a 1981 15 hull. We have a loadrite trailer under it now, It pulls very well. I think he is going to put a center console on it and we are looking for a 40 or 50hp. Id love to see pics of yours when you get it started.

Try Boston Whaler. Most Whalers come with a trailer and sometimes the buyer does not want the trailer. I picked up a brand new 13 foot trailer for my "86 13 and it works great and looks the part. I had to adjust the bunks a little. The dealer charged me $700.00 in Newport Beach, CA

Ended up spending $1200 on an all aluminum trailer with LED's, guide posts, torsion axle, 13" wheels, etc from Continental. Fits PERFECT! Once the boat gets some work done I would like to have 2 rollers welded onto the crossbeams.
