I have a force motor I need to get a few years out of because I can't afford $5,000 for a new motor at this time. My brother bought it back in the mid 90s for a decent deal as I remember and it had very little in the way of hours on it. Any way it still has low hours as we have not used it much over the years so I want to replace a few parts and get some good use from it. The trouble I'm having is the sticker that holds the serial number and model number pieled away and all I'm able to find is the underside of the sticker that says "void". Is there another way to figure out what this motor is year wise so I can order the impeller, a coil, etc.? The carb has a raised casting that says 10/88. I'm figuring 89 or 90 but the google images I find don't quite look the same. The color scheme is different. Thanks. It is a 35 hp crossfire fuel induction. Color scheme is charcoal grey with red silver and grey stiping. Us marine. Made in Hartford wisconsin I think.
