Yamaha 70/75 Outboards for a 15' Whaler - Differences among years?
I am searching for a used outboard for my 15' Whaler. From what I have been reading, the 70 Yamaha seems to offer the best combination in regards to weight/power. I was originally looking for something 2004 and newer but after checking the weight on NADA, it seems like the weight was exactly the same all the way into the 90's. What I am wondering is what are the differences between a 2004 and a 1994? If I find an older motor with good compression, should I consider it or just keep searching for a newer motor?
