I have an 86 outrage w/ a 89' Yamaha 150 ..... when at full throttle it is hard to steer to port but easy to starboard, also the bars that the engine moves side to side on are very dry .... The only hydrollic is my tilt and trim ...
There is a small trim tab on the bottom of your engine at the rear. It sounds like this needs adjusting. There should be some marks on it on which position it is in.
You adjust that trim tab so the engine is just as easy to turn in each direction at your desired speed.
This adjustment will not work at all speeds, only the cruising speed.
