When I raised the engine height I now am able to run at a higher RPM so I am thinking it might be good to upgrade my prop. How do I go about selecting a prop? Member Personal Page Posts: 45 Comments: 0 Joined: 11/14/10	First what is the max rpm you can run this motor? Next what is your max rpm now with that prop. How is your motor mounted on the transom, high, low. Increasing height will give you a higher rpm. Give us some stats. Then you can figure out if you can go up in pitch which will drop your rpm by about 200 rpms per 1 inch of pitch and increase your speed. Also what are you using the boat for? It makes a difference if you will be pulling a tube, skier, or have a heavy load on your boat. Im going through this now. And im going to start a log with my stats using various props and figuring out at what height to mount my jackplate.

It is an all around boat, but I have so much power I don't think that really matters. My hole shot is through the roof. I have the presmirked hull and fully rigged out I think it weights about 1000 lbs.
