94 Quart Cooler

Member Posts: 39 Comments: 0 Joined: 06/15/10	I just purchased a West Marine 94 quart cooler as an upgrade on my 89 Montauk.. The cooler only comes with two snaps on each side. I purchased screw in snaps because the Halls cushions have four snaps along the front. Can anyone give me some advise is this the best was to add snaps? Is screwing into the lid solid enough to support the snaps?? Thanks in advance for your response..

Site Owner Personal Page Personal Album Photo Albums Project Albums Posts: 11447 Comments: 452 Joined: 03/18/05	That is how most of them are added to the cooler. If the screws strip out, then you can use pop-rivets to hold the snaps in place. You would need different snaps when using rivets.

I tried a generic cushion with two flaps on my new cooler for my Montauk and it moved around terribly.
