Hi Folks, I have firmed up the purchase of a brand new Yamaha leftover two stroke 90 for my 89 Montauk. Should take delivery next week, will be shipped in from suburban Atlanta. I have the prop which was on the old Yammy 90 but want to go ahead and get a new one. Vessel will continue use along Coast of SC for creek, waterway, inshore and some light duty offshore fishing, cruising and fun.
Need input on good prop recommendation. Blades, pitch, ss or other material?
Find a reputable dealer who does prop exchange. My dealer lent me props until I found exactly what worked best for my boat, with the understanding that I'd buy one when we got it right. Many dealers will provide this service, and they can point you in the right direction initially as well.
