hey...looking to raise the transom to accomidate an engine...any suggestions would be great....i am willing to pay, just can't find

The easiest way is to purchase an engine bracket or setback bracket.
I assume you are wanting to put on a 20 inch long shaft motor?
You will need a bracket that will raise the engine 5 inches if that is the case.
There are different sizes of setback. You might not want any, or as little as possible.
I'm sure others here with the 13' models will let you know what they used.

thanks joe... you wouldn't know where to order? i've been searching, and i know if seen the bracket(sleeve) before...it seems to slip down onto the notch and bolt in

CMC (Cook Manufacturing Company) makes some nice engine brackets.
Some of them are too fancy for me but they do offer different models.

I would look at a fixed jack plate unless you are running the flats and want to raise your motor frequently.

There are many other manufacturers also. I just can't think of them at this time.
Hopefully somewhere here can add to this...

I have a brand new in box bracket from T&H Marine for sale.
Went with a 15" shaft motor instead. $100
