The Outrage 20' started in 1980... The hulls are different as the V-20 does not have as deep a V as the later Outrage 20'....

In 1980 they dropped the V from the name and just called it the Outrage 20. It wasn't until 1985 or 1986 that they started to produce the deeper V Outrage 20. Any Outrage 20 from 78 - 84 will be the 19' 10" 11 degree deadrise model. In 1985 I believe both hulls may have been sold, I'm unsure about this though but 1985 was definately the transition year. Then 1986 to 1989 only the larger and deeper V hull was available. I haven't owned either hull but from owner accounts its clear that there is a vast difference between the ride of the two hulls.
