I spent a whole week in photoshop to achieve this.
The result is an excellent .cdr file which opens with Corel Draw
and contains the whaler red decals (Weap!for both sides!).
Simply give this file to a print shop along with the desired
dimensions and save the artwork fees!
Just post your e-mail or tell me the way to contribute it to Whaler Central.
Also i made (PERFECT) the decals of a 1994 mariner 115 2 stroke.
Just post your e-mail or tell me the way to contribute it to Whaler Central.
Because i think we whalers are one!

Tasosk,
Wish I would have know you where doing that I could have saved you some time. I have both sides drawn in Illustrator. I have them saved as .ai, .eps, .dwg, .jpg, .bmp, .gif, etc, etc. Most sign makers in States do not use Corel files for cutting vinyl and require either .ai or .eps files to save you the art fee. Our sign shop at work prefers .eps or .ai files which come from Adobe products. Also check out www.brandsoftheworld.com . Graphic artist from around the world up load their logo files for all kinds of brands there for download. Truly a time saver.

Dear Jeff,
First i'ld like to thank you for your reply. The site is really amazing, but...
Secondly, do you think that i spend a whole week to make
something so poor?
The file is an .cdr because is an .ai saved as work (both sides in one file).
It opens with photoshop, illustrator, corel draw, etc.
It's a very, very good work as this logo deserves!Perfect match with
the original to the last detail!
The filesize is pretty small for upload and i'm still in touch with everyone interested.
Best regards,
Tasos

Tasos,
Something might have been lost in translation. I was not commenting that your work was poor in any way. I was just commenting most sign shops here in the states do not normal use corel files, that was all. If you have them as .eps or .ai files that is what people here in the states need. I commend you for the effort you would have put into recreating these files. I know how time consuming and it is something most do not take upon themselves. That is why I started creating all of my whaler art / logo files and recreated capacity plates.
There are also two types of Whaler logos made. The classic logo which has the word Boston before the harpoon and the post classic which has the word Boston after the harpoon (these layouts are for the port side logo). Starboard side always has the word Boston behind the harpoon.
I am currently working on redrawing the model logos in Illustrator. I have the Outrage logo done. I am working on the Revenge and Montauk.
In the end no matter what there is always Janis at Magicbrush.com who was the OEM logo manufacture for whaler. She has ALL of the logos and models names whaler ever produced. She can cut what ever you need and ship it anywhere in the word. I would recommend using her for any restoration / remade vinyl graphics. I just makes sense to support an OEM supplier who exists because of their high level of quality and long standing service to whaler owners. She recently went out of her way to help my father after his new logos where stolen in the mail. That is just an example of the quality person she is and quality business she runs.
Thanks again for your helping the community.

I got from Joe Kriz the name and adres of Janis, but she doesn't anwnser my e-mail. Does any one have the drawings of a decal digital, so I can let it print a local printing shop in my place?
If anyone knows a solution, I really appreciate it...!
Thanks,

Jurriaan,
There are many different decals on any given Boston Whaler but I think these are the decals you are looking for only for the Montauk 17', correct... ?

Janis at MagicBrush does get busy from time to time. If she doesn't answer her email, try giving her a phone call. Here is her website with her information.
http://www.magicbrushsign.com/
She recently changed her email address and made the new web page above.
Trying sending her an email with the new address she posts on her web page.

Hallo Jeff, Joe,
Would it be possible for me to get the .eps files for the logo and the MONTAUK - 17' text? I'm finalizing restoration on our 1979 Montauk and would like to get registration on the same transfer sheet in black printed locally. Thanks, Marwin (Rotterdam, Netherlands)
