I have 17'6 outrage II .and rig with 125 hp offshore Mercury . when I plane it seem like it take sometime for the bow to come down. I want to know if I install the hydrofin SE 300 , would that help ?
I am not a big fan of fins unless there is no other choice.
I would first take a look at the height of your engine. If your engine is mounted all the way down, try raising the engine one set of holes and see if that helps your performance.
The engine should be in the 2nd or 3rd set of holes but you have to adjust for your particular boat.
