I just received a survey from Boston Whaler. I found it interesting that there were several questions centered around where did I get my information on Whalers. It specifically asked how much I rely on Whaler Central for information along with CW and a few other locations. Of course I gave Whaler Central a "10" on the rating scale. I expect many of you will receive the same survey.

Interesting. BW is placing adds all over for their big sales event.

Depending on the dealer, If you have service work done, especially warranty work, you'll get a Customer Satisfaction (CSI) survey from Whaler or Mercury

I too gave Whaler Central a ten but I AM curious about how they got my name and E mail. I have never bought a new Whaler, never had either of my two in for service. I am wondering if just going on their site could get me on that list. Anyway I wish that when it is done I could get a peek at the results.
Taking the survey reminded me of just how much I have relied on this site and how much I have learned and most of all, how much better my Whalers look and run because of it: So thanks again to the monitors and site sponsers......I DO indeed buy from them. Chris

I was thinking that they got my name from the BW Owners Group that I signed up for. I also got the Whaler magazine afew weeks back and I assumed it came from that group. A lot of the questions were pure market research where you could tell that they were seeking out the best method of getting the Whaler message out. Its as if Whaler is trying to decide whether to go heavier into boat shows, email campaigns, online presence, or marketing through its dealer network. My answers all reflected that I get very little info from dealers and boat shows and that I rely very heavily on the web. It felt as if Whaler was trying to decide if the traditional boat marketing of the past still works or do they need to pursue newer methods.

Boat ownership information can be bought from any state. MN with slice and dice the registration information any way you want them, by boat, city, any information that appears on the boat registration documents.
