Big Kudo's to BRP + Dealer support.

Sunday, June 27th just one week before my big 4th July weekend the shifter within the lower unit broke. I could hardly believe my luck!

Monday, I dropped the boat with my Evinrude dealer Pat (many of you assured me loyalty and not shopping solely for price when I re-powered would have it's rewards... and.... you were right - Thanks Kamie et all.) and within and hour I had a call diagnosing the problem and that he'd ordered either the part or whole new lower end depending on BRP's decision.

Next day BRP shipped a whole new lower unit! - Delivered Thursday / Friday.

Despite the huge weekend and workload Pat delivered Saturday 3rd a spankingly clean, bleached white and working boat.

P.S. ~ Not hearing about it from the wife all weekend - utterly - utterly priceless !!! ~

We had a great 4 days of blissful boating on the lower Potomac and Chesapeake Bay.

Big, Big Thank You BRP and Pro Performance Marine's Pat Gallipoli for the outstanding customer support especially right on the cusp of the national holiday. It would have been much easier to blow us off to following week.

** I'm really looking forward to the 4+ years remaining on this warranty!

One happy customer for life.

He's in Edgewater Maryland near Annapolis which might only be of relevant to only a small %.

Lots of E-Tec's at the Potomac Swim event back in June which was interesting.

For those trying to choose which engine, brand this might help a tad.
