Weather permitting....I will finally get to test run my 1965 13 Sport. The motor is all tuned up and ready to go. I will be working on the finishing touches and checks this weekend and hope to splash next weekend....yeah!!

Finally made it out today for a shake down cruise...all went well until we decided to head home after4 hrs of running time. My prop spun the hub which brought us down to a crawl to get home. Thankfully we were only 2 miles from home port. Anyways...ran down to my local dealer and bought a new prop for only $30.00 and had the old one repaired for about the same. Now I have a spare just incase.
I am amazed at how stable the boat is and how well it handles at speed. Tomorrow will bring more boating fun and sun....yeah! Nice to finally get to enjoy the fruits of my labor.
