Am wondering if anyone knows where to find a RPS that is open underneith such that 2 x 12 gal gas tanks could be stowed. I've found a todd RPS but it has a built in cooler under. or can you buy the legs for a RPS type seat that allow for open space under them.
I could be loosing my mind but i think older 17 footers came with a seat like this.
thanks for the help.

Dana,
There are people around that have extra "Z" legs for the RPS...
I found it easy to raise the Z legs about 2 inches by using a piece of teak shaped like the foot of the Z leg.

The newer Tempo 12 gallon tanks fit under the RPS with a little room to spare.
If you want to put a cooler under there, then maybe raise the RPS 3" or 4"... or more to suit your needs.

Thanks Joe.
Z legs, that is exactly what i am looking for! When you say people have exta z legs do you mean buisness or regular boaters? I guess I'm asking if you (or anyone else) know where to find the z legs?
Thanks,
Dana

Dana,
Tom W Clark asked the original manufacturer of the Z legs to make another run of these sometime back. These have all sold but many of the people that bought them still had their old Z legs and might sell them.
If they don't happen to read this post, you might put another post in the Classified section and say you are looking for a pair of these Z legs.
I know a person that might have a brand new pair of these for sale but am not positive.
I will send you a PM if this person wants to sell them.

Hi Crabbybob,
If drandlett is not interested in your z-legs, I am interested. How much do you want for them and can you post a picture.
Thanks
Beantown
