I am looking to source a new set of chrome coaming rail caps. Does anyone know who was the OEM on these or where I might find them?

Jeff,

I am unclear what part you are referring to. The Marinium Rub Rail end caps or the stainless steel rub rail or strakes?

If the former, they were made by Wilcox-Crittenden. If the latter, they are generic parts that can be purchased at any good chandlery.

Tom,

I am looking for the chrome piece that runs along the raised ridge on the inside of the gunwale. It is maybe about a 1/2" - 3/4" in width and runs from the stern to the end of the teak towards the bow.

Jeff -

Come on over for a visit to SW Michigan. Wolf's in Benton Harbor has these, and will cut them to fit your specifications.

They also have the larger diameter drain plugs that fit Whalers, bulk teak, etc, etc, etc,

Fun place to kill a few hours.

I'm sure Pat would love to tag along for a visit.

Dave

Jeff,

That is not chrome. It is stainless steel and Whaler refers to the part as a "stainelss steel rub rail". You can buy that anywhere and cut/bend it to fit your boat.
