Well, this is IT ! All H.W. is Done and the Bell has sounded, pencil's down please !
The Rig is READY ! I was going to splash her Friday but, I had my son's school play that day, then Sat. had to shop, then Sun was the little league parade, the extra "Delay" time has allowed me to clean the hull even further, and put on more "Multiple coats" of wax. The boat never looked so "GREAT", it's been cleaned to within an inch of it's life, it look's so good that I don't want to get the bottom of the hull wet.
0700- assemble the troops
0730- start the massive convoy to the boat ramp 3.9 miles down the road
0734- Weary, after a tough 4 minutes we hit "McDonalds" for breakfast.
0745- launch and splash...HELLO SUMMER 2010 !
Happy Memorial Day ! Be safe ! Take a minute to stop and Thank all of those folk's who gave up their Tomorrows, so that we could have OURS !
Lets not forget the "Reason for the season". Today, my kids and I are going over to the local cemetery to the Veterans section and paying tribute to those fallen hero's who have given their lives so we can live free. God bless those military members.

Yea, we ran across and "THANKED" a few WWII surplus "Buzz Boys" at McDonalds, they had some amazing stories to tell. I learned a few things from them as well, such as you can't tighten up trailer lugs without jacking up the trailer first, or they will loosen up again. The importance of carrying an adjustable wrench in your vehicle while trailering. They wiped my nose and sent me on my way with no more problems, GREAT bunch of guys !
