Remolded all of the non-skid in the hull today with "flex-mold". Sanding and a full day of buffing to look forward to tomorrow. Trying like heck, to get this thing ready for the river run on the Homosassa April 5th for the GCBWOA.

Going through a similiar ordeal for Homasassa with our Outrage but not even romotely near that level. Looking forward to seeing it.

Spent the day looking at ways to get a jackplate for my needs.
Talked to West Marine and Bob's machine shop.
Shipping seems to be a costly problem for this side of the continent.

Don't overlook the TH Marine Atlas Jacker! I chose that over the others, design is awesome.

Today...machined harpoon tips into the stainless rub rail, machined a heatsink for underwater light mount, and bought new optima blue tops. Sanded, and buffed hull all day.

I congratulate you on your boat James.
Those personal touches speak well of your attention to details.
Love the wood and the stainless detailings

Me too. Redoing the brightwork with WestSystem and then varnish. West system is not easy to sand.

- New fuel line, primer bulb and batteries.
- Installed an OEM bilge pump switch and wiring.
- Replaced the old pump and switch, and removed excess old wiring.
- New capacity decal and hull id plate.

Now I just need to finish a custom teak gauge frame and hook the gauges back up. I'm making that to cover some rough cuts from when the previous owner installed the speedometer and tachometer.

Not more then 2-3 weeks to go before the first outing of the season.

Launching this evening to do a trailer swap, planning a short cruiser while we're in. Have been spending the last week readying the trailer. Also previously instaled a stereo, new compass, drink holders, "tater bin" on back side of console door, moved battery with new switch and main breaker etc.

Put the GPS/sounder back in the boat. Dusted, polished, topped off batteries. Stocked up on circle hooks.

Took it fishing. I've owned it a year and this is only the second time that I've gone fishing. I plan on doing a lot more fishing in the near future now that it's fixed, thanks to all my Whalercentral friends.
