I own the Whaler that was listed as Barry's. I would certainly be able to help with any dimensions of the seat that is made out of the swim platform. As for the weight it is able to handle without any support. I am approx. 200 lbs. and can stand in the middle of it without the seat really buckling at all. I have had three adults (not very small or big) sitting in the back and the seat does well. In order to add cushion to the seat, there are two flotation squares/throwables that snap on to the seat for more comfort. Please send me a message if you have any questions.
That swim platform seat looks like the perfect compliment to a Montauk w/finished teak. I would like any information including dimensions, was it used or a new purchase & if new from whom, if the model boat it was taken from is known, etc.
