A friend from the Door County area of Wisconsin sent this to me. There is so much snow and ice in the boat it has tweaked the trailer to the point of pushing the boat off and I bet is forcing the bunks in the the hull. What a mess. He said he cringes every time he sees the boat (not his).

OUch, i really hate to see any boat being treated like that, but especially a classic Whaler.

Thats just horrible...looks like the weight of the snow and ice will really do a number on that nice classic sad...I hope that gets to be just a small issue...

The picture from Door County reminds me of an ice fishing trip there years ago. Once was definitely enough.
Not to make anyone feel bad but the forecast on the Texas coast tomorrow is 84 F. I think I'll head to Port Aransas.
Duf....I'll look for a 22' with a new E-TEC.

Actually, i was out yesterday got off of work around 4, dropped the boat in the water and cruised out and down the intercoastal. Was a great evening around 80. Tried to help a guy that ran WAY outside the channal with a fairly large boat, and i couldn't pull him off as he was high and dry and way heavier then me.
Let me know next time your going to be in PA and i'll meet you for a cold one at the Salty Dog!
