I’m restoring a 1965 13’ Whaler Sport and I’m updating the steering with a push / pull setup. I’m using a sport helm steering console and through my research I ordered a 9’ length seastar safe-t qc cable but I’ve also found other threads where some used a 10’ cable. I have until January 31 to return the cable if it’s too short. I’m almost at a place in restoration that I’ll be installing the cable and will find out if it’ll work then but it would be nice to know before hand if it’s the right length. Does anyone know for certain if the 9’ length is the right length for this setup? TIA.
