Thank you in advance for your replies.
I have water holding in the fuel compartment. Aside from not understanding why the channels designed into the tank, I'm trying figure out how this water is supposed to get out.
I've seen the pictures on this sight of the 22 Outrage deck restoration. Does anyone have pictures of a 25 Outrage with the deck removed?
Thanks again,
Jeb

Jeb, I own a 1990 Revenge 22. While your 25 arrangement will not be the same, perhaps it will be similar to mine. I recommend you pull the deck cover and have a look. Sure, it is a bit of work, but you will learn what is under the deck and can fix the issue. You also can take care of replacing old fuel lines more easily if they are due/overdue to be renewed. You can check the deck cover itself because they have been known to develop defects which let water into the plywood core (around screw holes or the ports & rivets).

While I have not seen a 25 under the deck, I do not believe there should be standing water. If this water is salt water, your tank will corrode more quickly than if it is dry. Perhaps other 25' owners can reply. You don't state the year of you boat, which can help too, because there are configuration changes throughout the years of production.

I have a 25 outrage like yours and replaced my tank. Water can come in where the fuel hoses are shown. It goes over the tank and out a drain tube at back starboard side of the top of the tank. You can stick your hand in back there from the starboard drain area and feel it. It could be clogged up if it is holding water. Its not bad practice to remove the deck plates and point a fan down there to dry everything out.
You can email me and I will send you pictures of my tank removal. Not sure though if they are of any help.

You should pull the fuel tank cover and clean out all the gunk that has settled in the channels.
You should also change all the hoses. The fill, vent and supply need to be alcohol resistant, use double stainless steel clamps.

Here are some not great underfloor pictures from my boat, a 1984 Outrage 25, from right after I pulled it up.

The first one shows the area on the port front, where a plastic piece bridges the gap over the fuel line routing.
All are shot from the port side. I had some standing water here where the drain on the starboard rear corner was clogged - I fixed that and it does not hold water like that anymore.

Thank you for your replies. I'll get after it once Cindy gets out of here.
