I have a 1989 22 foot Outrage Cuddy. In the bottom front floor of the cuddy cabin it is leaking. I do not know what should be there. Just three screws are there. Thanks

I pulled up this picture because I have a question. The little door on the port side of the console, what is it for? I am currently working on the restoration of a 1977 Outrage 19 and it has the same door but it would seem awkward to try to reach anything under the console. So I wondered if there was a cabinet behind the door that had been taken off. Or, is it just for looks? Thanks much.

Morris, this is my prior Outrage 22' Cuddy which is rated for 240hp. My Outrage 18' had a 150hp on it.

I also have a 1985 18' outrage and live in south Florida.
I have been told by marine patrol and coast guard that it is illegal to have an over sized engine on a boat past its ratings.
Have you ever had a problem with your outrage since it is rated for 150hp?

Sitting here on my day off researching BW 22 outrage cuddy, and came across ur photos
My 13 yr old daughter was sailing in her opti (7ft sailig yacht) in the orangebowl regatta in Miami fl. There my wife saw and fell in love with the 2 Bw 22 Outrage cuddys at the regatta (unfortunately not for sale) - and finally she is extremely interested in boating- and this is what she wants!
We are looking for the best preserved boat we can find- do you have any thoughts / advice and can u b hired to survey such?

tkhvdh, Thanks. I bought this California boat from the original owner who moved to Idaho and then didn't use it much. When I registered it back in CA I was able to get the original CF registration numbers.

very nice boat i also have a 1985 outrage its at the shop there putting a 2010 9.9 kicker on it i was worried it mite make the boat lean a lil but apparently not it has a 150 hpdi yamaha on it
