Im thinking about buying a bimini top for my 93 Dauntless from Cabelas. They have two materials which are sharkskin or sunbrella. The sunbrella material is about $70 more. Does anyone have any opinions about these two materials?
Thanks, John

Welcome to WC.
I've used Sharkskin for the past three years on my Bimini and it has held up well.

Sunbrella is the standard by which all others are judged. Not saying that Sharkskin isn't good, it might well be. But you can't go wrong with Sunbrella...

Thanks for your input on this topic. I went with the sharkskin for my first bimini top - mainly because of price. The sharkskin looks very durable. This is an all day fishing boat now. Check it out on my personal page.

pederj: How has the sharkskin held up? I am in the market for one and wanted to know your thoughts. What dimensions did you order? Thanks.

Trott- I sold that boat last year. But, no complaints from me the 2-3 years I had it. I would buy it again.
