I didn't fine anything on this in my searches. Does anyone know of a company selling the helm with the drum for cable steering? I found some for racing but not for use on a 13.

The only ones available new these days are for racing. Keep your eye on ebay or here, they do show up.

Kamie is correct but used cable and pulley steering is available on e-bay and in most marine salvage yards. The pulleys used in racing are expensive but far superior than the old ones used in pleasure boats.

Thanks guys, I'll keep an eye out. I did see some pulleys on ebay but not the helm itself.

I have complete stearing for a 13 whaler if you need it it is for sale and it has new cable with it ,you will have to buy a steering wheel as I sold it first. steering wheels for the whaler are easy to get. they still sell them new.
