I have a 13’ Super Sport, model year 1988 built in 1987.

I had corroded drain tubes so I believe she has taken on water. I put her in the lake in late May and she’s in the water until October. She weighs in at 1020 lbs. (no battery or gas tanks). That includes Load Rite trailer, model 161200L at 180 lbs, 35 hp Mercury at 140, I think.
I see in the boat specs that it should weigh 360 lbs. I do not know if this just hull weight or includes SS rails, wood, steering wheel/cable and throttle mechanics. If I do the math she needs to loose 340 lbs.
Specified boat weight includes all standard equipment as it left the factory like steering and rails, but does not include optional or dealer installed equipment like engines, fuel tanks or controls.
I also suspect the weight of your trailer is a little greater than the manufacturer suggests.
Regardless, it does sound as if your hull has some water in it; hundreds of unaccountable weight is a problem. I doubt s stern drain tube could b the source as there is no way to exert any hydrostatic pressure on threat area, but a bow through-hull drain can be blasted by water if there is not a clam shell ventilator over it to act as a Venturi and shield.
