I've replaced the power pack, rectifier and solendoid switch, but my volt meter is still reading 16+. Any suggestion about what could still be causing this? Thanks.

Can you check it against another volt meter ? Might be "Faulty".

I just installed one as well (never had 1 before), I read about 14.7 (right at the end of the "Green" zone). Seem's a tad "High" to me as well.

It's a regulated charging system? If so, then by "rectifier" you mean that the regulator and rectifier are combined? Or is the voltage regulator a separate unit? If so I'd test that. If not, I'm not sure. If not then your regulator is new so I'm not sure. If it's unregulated it's outside my experience.

I would check the voltage at the battery, at the voltmeter, and maybe one or two other points in the system, including under the hood, to see what kind of voltage drops you have. You'd want to use a reliable multi-meter.

You might also make sure you don't have a short to ground somewhere. That would cause high charging current but not necessarily high charge voltage. Do you have a way to measure current?
