It has been a long, tiring search, and today was a long, tiring tow, but I am finally the proud owner of a beautiful 1998 Conquest 21. There are a couple of pics on my personal page, and I'll post more details after I catch my breath tomorrow. I can't wait to get her up to Maine for her first voyage. Thanks to all of you, especially Phil T for his great willingness to share advice, and Joe Kriz for this wonderful community. I am looking forward to learning more from all of you, and sharing from my journey too.

Looks good Mike.

How does the Jeep do pulling the Conquest?

We just bought our 5th Jeep but haven't tried pulling the Outrage 18' with it yet.

Thanks Joe! The Jeep pulled like a champ. It's a 2001 4.7 V8 and didn't even break a sweat -- I was really impressed, and it handled extremely well. We got about 10 mpg for the trip, whereas normal mileage is about 18-20 mpg. Your Hemi should be a fantastic hauler - that engine is a beast!

Mike -

Glad to hear/see all worked out. Hope the trailer setup was not too troublesome. She looks great.

Always willing to help.

Congrats to you too Kevin! I know what you mean - already thinking about what can be improved/upgraded/etc.

Phil - I convinced the folks at the yard to fit the trailer for me - they said it wasn't too hard afterall. Pretty much fits like a glove.
