Has anyone installed a gunwale seat from West Marine. I'm thinking about removing my rear seat because I've installed a leaning post with rocket launchers and I find it too cumbersome to fish.

Thank you,

Key-zFrown

I was thinking of doing the same thing! Are you looking to buy the Garelick seat?

I've shopped the internet and found West Marine to be the only place that sales them.

I'll send you pic's next week. I have my boat in the Florida Keys. However, there is a nice marine should that builds them in homestead, Florida. www.Smittysmarine.net or you can try speciality marine. They have a nice SS leaning post on sale for $775.00

Take a look at model 72001-C with cutting board. Looks pretty useful. Smile

key-z,

Let us know how these seats work out for you.
Photos of the installation would also be nice.

You bet!

Not sure when I'll purchase. One seat is $192.00 dollars but I'm going ahead with the removal of the back seat this Saturday morning. Pfft
