three photos of the 13ft. sport you fols help me not screw up. It is powered by a late 70ish Johnson 25 pull start that runs like a top. Scoots pretty well - once my youngest is 12 we can put a 40hp on her and then she will really be dangerous. this boat is the "dingy" for our Cruisers 3370. Pictures are "clickable" to a larger size
We refinished the existing wood and reinforced the seat with a 1" square aluminum tube under each seat. It screws through the wood 1 1/2" in from the end of the seat at both ends. Added a great deal of strength.
Had her out over the weekend on Lake Minnetonka in Minnesota. Her performance was perfect in almost every way. We cruised the windward ends of a couple of bays to try calm water and also ran her through a good number of significant wakes from 30 to 40 foot cruisers. All went well, kids ( 8 and 6) had a great time driving. I had a great laugh watching them.
At the suggestion of my brother, ran synthetic 2 stoke motor oil. This stuff really knocked down the amount of smoke and did not appear to have any negative effects on the engine - have others tried this and what is your opinion?
