The restoration of my 89 Montauk is nearly complete but I need a push pull type on off switch, the type with the chromed knob and a brass switch body . I think they are made by Seachoice . They are not available her in the uk and my dealer cannot find them on the OEM parts. Question is does anyone have one in good condition they would be prepared to sell and send to the UK to help out a Brit' in Trouble?

Heres hoping

Haasad:

Send me a pm with your address. I can help you out. It sounds like what you're looking for is the same type of switches I have. They are sold all day long at West Marine.

I believe they're made by Cole Hersee (OEM). Someone did a nice article on here about replacing theirs.

If you take a quick look in the OEM Parts Photo section you will find the light switch made by Cole Hersee.

Cole Hersee also makes the push pull switch but I don't have the part number at the moment.
Here is an article on some switch panels.

Like the ones on my personal page, They are ok but there are some better ones out there. A little more water tight, or with a rubber seal over then. That is what I will use next time. Look around before you make your choice.

I have an extra one. Pm me your address, and I'll send it out. Is it the 2 position pull switch "off-on-on" or single throw switch "off-on" ?
