Does anyone know exactly where the oar sockets were installed on a 13 foot whaler? I have a 72 and I need someone to give me the measurement of where the sockets are in relation to the bow locker. I've searched the form and downloads and have not found the answer. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

I don't have a measurement but I have a fairly good picture that shows it in relationship to the bow locker on a 63 13ft.http://s355.photobucket.com/albums/r4...=rubl7.jpg

Thanks Binkie and Turpin! Binkie, I'm probably going to take your advice and shift the seats and console 4 to 6 inches forward. In your opinion, should I also shift the sockets forward? It might look funny, though. I'm at the hole fixing stage and thought it would be a good time to install them. There was a thread a while back that gave good directions but no measurements.

Just leave the Oar sockets where they are. If you were to use your oars in the oar sockets rowing, you'd be sitting on your anchor locker anyway with your back facing towards the front of the boat.
