Member Posts: 3 Comments: 0 Joined: 01/13/09	I am negotiating to buy a Yamaha 25MSH - 25 hp short shaft. I need to know if that will fit my Whaler. I have redone it, and need to put an engine on it. I went outside and measured, and it is 17 inches from the transom to the bottom - I understand the "shaft" on a Yamaha is 15 inches... is this the correct engine/length for the boat?
