Well,
I personally own a very classy Classic Outrage 19 1975.
So I may be favorizing the 19..
I have found to have a world of great efforts and pleasure restoring this great Whaler.
Beauty will always remain in the eye of the beholder and to say it slightly differently "One man's junk will be another man's treasure"
So opinions about the two different models will differ..
I know the 19 to be an exciting unit easily recognized by it's distinctive cap structure.
The V-20 has a very similar but definitely slightly modified hull design.
To be seen in the front bow and keel areas.Just to mention the most obvious.
Both are astounding boats to own and very exciting to sail.
It has been found that this type of hull has been noted to be very economical to run fuel wise but will definitely not be a type of boat to be going a crashing carelessly in three foot waves..
My advise would be to carefully inspect both units and to go for the best all around shape of either one.
Listen to what the boats are telling you.
You will have to live with one of them,so better make it a careful choice.
It will be noted that some of us will prefer the Elder Bob's designs of hulls from the Eighties to give a dryer and steadier ride.
