I am wanting to change the high bow rails on my '07 Montauk 150. The PO had them installed when he bought the boat but I think they will make fishing from the bow area a PIA. I'd like to lower them and have the center bow section removed entirely....I think.
Anyone have a recommendation on a custom fab shop for this job?
Could the ones I have just be cut down/shortened? Seems that the angles of the uprights might make that a real challenge.
There is a guy in the Carolina's, Ray Martin, that made my rails for my 82 Newport. He also made me a swim platform with teak. I think it's Raymarine.com. He is on Ebay if you type boston whaler and look at the swim platforms.
