i thought that i would answer my own question for the benefit of all. I have a 1988 outrage 18 that has the original fuel sending unit in it, which went bad. it was a mechanical only and made my Rochester. i have Yamaha gauges on my CC but the fuel never registered so i wanted to see if i could get it to work. Well, the original fuel tank in the 1988 Outrage was made by Florida Marine. After asking everyone that i knew, i called them and they immediately knew what i was talking about and shipped me a senior twin site dial that sits right where the old one did on the fuel sending unit but it has wires attached that will allow me to hook it up to my Yamaha gauge on the CC. problem solved.
