COULD SOMEONE PLEASE POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION ON WHERE TO GET A REPLACEMENT FUEL GAUGE THAT MOUNTS UNDER THE LEAN POST...I BELIEVE THIS IS AN 89' MODEL...COULD IT BE THE FUEL SENDING UNIT MAYBE? THE ALWAYS READS 3/4 TANK NO MATTER IF FULL OR EMPTY....ANY HELP APPRECIATED
Just so you know, typing in CAPS is considered yelling.
The internal fuel tank under the deck was made by FMT, Inc. Does your tank have a gauge on the console or is it a direct read indicator (look through the clear inspection port). The direct read indicator is made by Rochester. Link to Rochester Dials
If a direct read, it could be stuck. While not certain, it should have screws to remove from the tank.
If broken check with E Components for a replacement.
