First Southern(Edit: Gulf Coast) Post. Yeehaa. We're too head strong down here to let this sit empty for too long, but I'll keep in on topic by posting my info.

Welcome Bob...Nice mischief. That 115 will sure give that boat a helluva ride. We have a 90 tower of power on our Montauk and that thing screams. You will love that motor. I would love to find a pair of old 115's for my 22 Outrage.

Yea it sure does look cool on the back.I know it's overkill and a real good 75 would probably still have the same top speed, but this thing should be a rocket fully loaded or empty. If i could find another clean late 80's 115,this one and that one might find thier way onto my 21.Then i could put a more suiting motor on the back like a 90 nissan or yamaha for top end running. For now though, the tower just looks bad

I've been getting to P'Cola about once a year since the 70's to visit friends and relatives on Santa Rosa Island. Never have seriously fished anywhere other than the Sound and outside a few times. Any suggestions? I bought my Montauk there and plan to start pulling it back when possible.

TomB sorry for the slow reply, other tahn the sound and outside we now have a mile or so of the old 3 mile fishing bridge on the bottom due to hurricane ivan. the rubble has been a boon to fishing pensacola bay. also on the north side of pensacola bay right in downtown pensacola they have developed a bay grass, oyster bed re-nourishment program, it has been great for flounder, trout, black snapper.
