Hey Y'all,
I live near Lake Guntersville, Alabama. Wondering if any other Whalers are in Northern Alabama?

I am based out of Tupelo, MS. I just moved here and have been in the middle of many repairs. I have not been out yet...

I guess most Southerners don't consider Floridians real southern folk but in fact most Whalers reside in Florida. I would think most of the Whalers in Alabama also reside on the Gulf Coast, but here is a picture of a friend of mine, Billybob Ray, and a long time resident (generations) of N. Alabama in his boat (he calls it a walir or something like that).

Never been up there but I here Pickwick is a great place. Plus the river connects to Gunterville through Wislon lake. Sound like a jam up Whaler trip.

My wife and I had a blast on a 1400 mile "Whaler" trip up the East coast with a group of people we had never meet before. All boats were Boston Whalers. Great way to make new friends.

I have been up to the Lodge at Lake Guntersville and it is a great place. Did not have my Whaler as both trips were business but would like to explore the area. Remeber your history Florida used to extend into LA, yall.

But it IS a WHALER.

You should try creating a personal page so we can see your boat.

My interest in creating a "Personal Page" is pretty low....maybe one of these days. I just wanted to post a pic of my boat on the beach...inserting a pic hosted elsewhere is much easier than creating a whole page...

I compltely understand what you're saying, however creating a personal page is relatively easy.
