Hi, would love to hear from Outrage 370 owners of their experiences with the ride of the boat and whether it is a 'wet' or 'dry' ride, when when running in a good size swell with a fair breeze (say 15+ knots) on the bow or beam.

Considering purchasing a 2010 370 CC, but just need to understand if it's a dry enough ride to keep the fairer members of the household happy, without the benefit of storm covers or clears.

Thanks

While I don't own a 370 Outrage, my nephew does and I've had the opportunity and pleasure to pilot this fine vessel. My experience was in calm weather on the great lakes. That said, she is a big powerful boat with a hull designed to handle most anything, within reason, the sea can dish up. She has a fully enclosed helm, if need be, and enough beam to allow passengers to find a dry spot, including below if necessary. The dryness of her ride is going to depend on how rough it is and how much of a hurry you are in to get where you're going. If you have to quarter into seas over 4' or so, expect some spray up front. Like any vessel, pick your days. We own that boat's baby, the 17 Outrage. She's a stout boat and very dry unless the conditions go bad and we have to go the wrong direction. Still, she will get you home.
