Hi,
I'm looking at a couple of older Revenge models: the 1978 Revenge 21 and the 1984 Revenge 22 (curved windshield). Both outboards.
I like the size/versatility for local island hopping and sandbars.
Does anyone here have experience with younger kids swimming off of either of these boats? We're downsizing from a 27' with a swim platform where exit/entry was pretty breezy. I'd love feedback on either of these models when it comes to swimming while at anchor.
Thanks!

They don't make one for either model I mentioned.

I downsized from a 34-foot Sea Ray ... with a full-beam 11-foot wide swim platform .... to a Whaler that has a tiny swim platform on the port side only. The kids will adjust just fine.
Where in MA do you boat?

We’re in Beverly. So, Salem Sound, Gloucester… We’ll probably trailer up to Maine on occasion as well.

Gotcha. We're down in the Hingham/Hull area. Most of the time when we have a larger group (two families) we will take the Montauk out to one of the Boston Harbor islands. So the kids are swimming but not really using the swim platform except for getting on/off the boat at the beach or pier.
