Member Posts: 3 Comments: 0 Joined: 10/12/19	90hp merc just tuned last season. installed new steering hardware, can't wait to try it remove the RPS seat, deck screws failed, rebuilding seat frame with Oak. any suggestion on how to attach to underside of seat. i really don't want to have to rebuild the seat. can i use longer screws for the deck? Thanks for a great site!!

If these holes are stripped you have two options: Overdrill the holes and fill with epoxy (Locktite Marine Epoxy) then tap for screws. Use toggle bolts.
