Using different wood then mahogany

Member Posts: 2 Comments: 0 Joined: 04/08/21	So I have a 1970 13ft whaler, I want to make it a super sport style interior. I would like to use mahogany but wood prices are outrageous at the moment, could I use oak or some other type of wood and still keep its value, durability?
