I recently bought a 2002 Sport 130 , the battery on it is about 2 years old so I want to swap it out for a newer one. Any recommendations?
Other info: its a 40 hp Mercury of the same year, the lights work and has a GPS. That's about it.
Thanks!
(changed to proper name of Sport 130 for clarification) https://www.whalercentral.com/userpho...owstart=60

Marine batteries typically last 5-7 years with seasonal use. Often longer in warmer climates.
Look at the CCA, Size listed on the battey.
Go to your local NAPA or Advanced Auto. They are only a few blocks away from each other in Key Largo.
Take the old one with you to exchange and avoid the core charge.
