My 1974 montauk which is stored 200 miles from my home needs a new windshield but I need to know the width dimension of my center console before I order the windshield.

Can anyone with a 1974 montauk measure the width of their center console and let me know?

UPD has a backlog of 6 months and Specialty is out of stock.

It is best to use the existing windshield as a template and have a local fabricator replicate it.

It can be a DIY if you have basic skills.

Thanks for your response. I found a new windshield for sale but nee width dimension on a 1974 Montauck to make sure it will fit my boat which is stored about 200 miles from my home.

If you have the original winged console the width inside the windshield is 29 1/4"

I gave actual measurements of 3 of them on the thread I linked to above.

I since got another winged console and the length is just over 29, width 15 1/4, height 14 - inside measurements
