Hydrofoils on 2002 Merc 225 outboards

Member Posts: 4 Comments: 0 Joined: 08/26/20	Hello folks. I am considering installing outboard motor hydrofoils on my brand new twin Merc 225s which are repowering my 2001 Conquest 26'. I am interested to hear if anyone has any experience to share about whether hydrofoils improve out of hole performance and flattening of the hull (lowering bow) when planing. Thank you.

Member Personal Page Posts: 268 Comments: 1 Joined: 11/21/05	Go with good props. The hydrofoil will add drag. You should use the trim tabs. I have never seen hydrofoils on a heavy boat with twins. Waste of money in my opinion.
