I have purchased a 3 step boarding ladder from Garelick to install on the port transom. I understand that there is a piece of 3/8 phenolic measuring 5'x12" in that location. Does anyone have experience with mounting in this location without through bolting? If so what size hardware did you use? Links to photos below. Thanks a bunch!
